The moon.

Today I'm writing a post about the moon, here are some facts.
The distance between the moon and Earth is 384,400km.
The moon is actually made of mountains.
The moon was formed 4.6 billion years ago.
The moon is a quarter of the size of Earth.
The moon helps the planet stabilise climate and if we didn't have the moon then Earth would tilt possibly even extend 45° at times. Just like Mars.
I wanted to learn more about the moon because it's important for our planet.

My thoughts about the research is...
I had no clue what so ever that the distance between the moon and Earth is 384,400 km. In fact I didn't know any of these facts until I searched for answers!!

  1. Hi Ava!
There is a lot of cool facts that you have written!
I really like how you added a picture to your post.
It reminds me of when I learnt about stars and black holes.
Maybe next time you can write about your thoughts on
    the facts.

  2. Hi Ava, Great research on the moon. I was interested in the fact the moon is as big as the earth. I thought it was smaller. Awesome work.

  3. Hi Ava! I am Nishka from Yaldhurst Model School (YMS) There are so many facts about the moon and today I have learnt some facts! Thank you so much for the information! Maybe instead of pressing enter once, you could press it twice so it is a paragraph otherwise all the information would me together. To be honest, I thought the moon was small, not big...

Do you know any other facts about the moon? See ya!

    Nishka...
