Monday mash up games and language

Today at Monday mash up we learnt Te Reo Maori numbers.
Do you know one of the easiest ways of working out Maori numbers past ten?
Well, we write the numbers in Te Reo on a white board to ten, then we just add tekau ma next to them, so its kind of
a pattern.

The word pattern

The word pattern in this sentance is like symmerty.
Tekau ma tahi then the tekau ma tahi turns into tekau ma rua.

We played games
First we played a  race with numbers we had to get all of the numbers in order to ten.
Then we played bingo with Maori numbers.
