Sensing food!

         Celery tasted like liquiorice. It felt like crunchy.

                                                                                           

I learnt what fennel tastes like and what lemon tastes like.
When I was at food tasting I tasted something I never had before it was lemon and it actually tasted yum, (and sour.)
The fennel tasted like grass to me. It felt bumpy.
The rice cracker tasted like a really salty cracker.It felt heavy.
Broccoli tasted like a small piece of tree. It felt squishy.
Kiwi fruit tastes sweet. It felt weird on my tongue.
Granny smiths apples tasted like Apricots. It felt slippery on my tongue.
The parsley tasted leaf like. It felt rough on my tongue.

Description ~ This building is so high I would totally jump off this.

Action ~ Boom, boom, boom my hearts beating so fast as I start to get a better picture from the edge.

Dialogue ~ ''This is terrifying why am I doing this?'' Oh yeah i'm doing this because I got dared too.''

Where ~ I am standing on the scaffolding which is in the air of a crane. I looked down at the city below it looked tiny from up here.

Adverb ~ Suddenly I heard a thump and tightly held onto the long pole and gently walked along the plank of wood.

Verb ~ I feel really scared right now because i'm about to jump off with a parashoot. 

Estimation of time ~ The sun is coming up to the west it must be getting morning.

Rhetorical Question ~ Should I regret this or not?

Animal sleep facts!

All animals including people need sleep. Large mammals sleep standing up. They need to be prepared to run at all times. Large animals have system called stay apparatus witch allows them to stand up without using their mussels Giraffes get very little sleep they get about 4.6 hours. Researchers don't know how such big animals get away with such little sleep. Sleeping less means they spend more times alert and aware of their surroundings. And less time unconscious about being attacked by predators. It could be necessary since Giraffes aren't meat eaters and giant mammals.They have to eat up to 37 killagrames of leaves each day. Some birds can fly for weeks without stopping sleeping while the do it! .

Why do we need sleep?

The human brain is a very mysterious thing.
Most people dream, even if they can’t remember what it was about.
 We know this because scientists have tracked,
 the brainwaves
 of heaps of people when they’re sleeping,
 and it’s normal to have a really long period of REM,
 – that’s “Rapid Eye Movement” which shows their
brains are busy doing something.
 One idea is that dreams are a way of
processing and filing away all the sights,
smells, sounds, tastes and events of the day.
Perhaps your brain works out which parts to
 remember and which to forget.
If you have a problem, sometimes dreams can
 appear to reflect what’s going on – so if you
have a music exam and are a bit worried, you
might dream about being chased by pianos.
 Others think dreams are made of much
more random collections of thoughts
 caused by the brain randomly firing
 as you sleep. So if you’ve had a really
weird dream about the world made of jelly, well maybe that’s the reason?
